Use a framebuffer. On this box, with an old radeon graphics card, I
use "video=radeonfb:[EMAIL PROTECTED]" which gives me 128x48 console
sessions. But, you need to identify a suitable framebuffer driver, and
suitable options (they don't all take the same options), and sometimes
the hardware can get confused.
