Matt is right, of course, there's no point of trying unless you know you can boot from usb 1. create a FAT16 or FAT32 filesystem on your pendrive 2. mount it and copy the livecd iso to it 3. run syslinux on the mounted pendrive (get syslinux from http://syslinux.zytor.com, you'll also need mtools, which is not mentioned anywhere)
