This all depends on if your PPC machine supports boot from USB pen drives

I just created a RIP (Rescue is Possible) boot pendrive, so I figure the
process for the LFS live cd should be similar or the same. Matt is right, of
course, there's no point of trying unless you know you can boot from usb

1. create a FAT16 or FAT32 filesystem on your pendrive
2. mount it and copy the livecd iso to it
3. run syslinux on the mounted pendrive (get syslinux from
http://syslinux.zytor.com, you'll also need mtools, which is not mentioned
anywhere)

the problem is that for ppc platform syslinux do not work, is supported only yaboot as main boot manager. Does anyone have already work with lfs and yaboot??
