Ah, so it has! As luck would have it, man-pages is probably the easiest and safest package to upgrade, so using any version (e.g. today's 2.07) should be fine.

<rant>I've a bone to pick with maintainers who remove tarballs so quickly - that version is only 7 months old. It's not as if they'd need to remove it to free up space - the tarball's are only 1.5M in size! </rant>

Well, it's already been upgraded to 2.06 in the development version, so when the next stable version is released (probably in the next 2-3 months, no guarantees of course!) then it'll include an updated version.
