 Reading the docs in rsync's zlib and in the TODO, it _sounds_ as if
nobody has pushed rsync's extra stuff upstream.  Apparently, if you link
against libz.so, one of the options doesn't work, and therefore a client
communicating with an rsync server won't work correctly.  Of course,
that doesn't sound a problem for those of us who don't run an rsync
server.
