It helps to be clear in all that you do. > I've built the 4 package archives ( re the previous post in this thread) which sit on my LFS system waiting to be installed. I log in to the host (Arch Linux in my case) and chroot into LFS. I then run a script on the host which untars the archives in turn (api-headers, glibc, binutils and gcc) and installs them on LFS. Everything works fine except updating the dynamic linker, which creates a seg fault in the chroot window.
