When I try and update the dynamic linker, /usr/lib/ld-2.18.so in my case,

I get the message 'Text file busy'

and when I then access the chroot window I get a seg fault.

If I close this window, open a new window, unmount the lfs disks, remount them
and enter chroot, everything works fine and the linker has been updated.

This happens whether I use cp -av or install.

Googling suggests that install should not cause the seg fault, but it does for
me.

Obviously it's rather messy the way it behaves. It would be cleaner if I could
avoid the seg fault. Is there some option that I should use with install to
prevent the current behaviour?

Thanks

jb.
