Ah, glad you've tested that too. I've got those changes in the build that I'm doing now, so they'll be committed at the same time as the --disable-libiberty change. I spotted the "GCC doesn't detect stack protection correctly" instruction in gcc-pass1 too late to test whether that's still an issue. I'll try testing that next, unless anyone shouts up prior to me getting to it that they know either way.
