Not as yet, running bootstrap after bootstrap isn't exactly fun, but I 
*personally* think that William's fix is the one that should be going 
into the book for now. (There may be other hosts out there other than 
LFS that don't install that header as well)

I'll be completing another run through later on and seeing if I can 
spot other things that can trounce the build.
