When I was looking at fedora, I noticed that they use another configure switch: --enable-obsolete-rpc. Adding that installs the rpc and rpcsvc headers (as well as the rpcsvc pascal .x files which glibc used to install [ I looked at 2.12.2 ].
Does that seem a worthwhile change to make ?
