OK. I'm about to go off line for a little while so realistically it'll be months before I'm fully up-to-speed and able to test and analyse changes with authority. I still reckon the proposed changes are: - ugly - unnecessary - overcomplicate the build even more than it already is - reduce overall educational value But if you firmly believe they are solid and you are willing to support through thick and thin and actually document the logic competently, go for it.
