Guys, it seems to make sense to move this to Freenode as they have a large infrastructure that is quite stable, they have hosted parts of the project before, I'm still listed as a project contact on Freenode so it would take almost no time and effort to set up the channels the same, re-add the same people and just do a dns re-direct on irc.linuxfromscratch.org, much the same way ubuntu uses irc.ubuntu.org to point to freenode and gnome use irc.gnome.org to point to efnet.
