Hmm. That would make it easier for admins to find one file with all settings in it. OTOH it would make it harder to modify this from BLFS in a sort of automatic manner, as well (adding "sound" to the list of subsystems to trigger, after alsa-utils is installed). On the third hand, though, it's already pretty hard to modify this in a sort of automatic manner, so eh, either way. (I do notice that the sysconfig/udev_retry file was missing from that commmit, so I've added it back in r9615. The Makefile is a bit broken without it. :-) Text changes or suggestions are, of course, welcome.)
