LFS doesn't enforce what type of filesystem the user will use, and it
uses as an example ext3, because is considering stable enough.
However maybe it would be good idea to provide additional commands to
create various filesystems that are marked 'stable' in Linux kernel.

About the ext4, from what I've read from articles, it isn't exactly
that 'stable'. Maybe it was marked too fast as stable, especially if you
think that the type of filesystem, perhaps it's the most critical
component of an operating system, so a lot more of testing was needed
before users start the transition.

Maybe a ticket (perhaps with low priority) to provide additional commands
for other filesystems is justified.
