My experience on Anduin is that there are a lot of people downloading
everything
on a web site whether they need it or not. Anduin has a lot of symbolic links
and users often download the links and the original files.

Looking at the most recent downloads for one day, I have:

  --------------------- httpd Begin ------------------------

8118.94 MB transfered in 2280 responses

--------------------- vsftpd-messages Begin ------------------------

TOTAL KB OUT: 15591465KB (15226MB)

It's a good think they don't meter my bandwidth.

To show that the downloads are automated, I have:

(161.246.26.193): [EMAIL PROTECTED] - 912 Time(s)
...

/LFS-LiveCD/lfslivecd-x86-6.2-3.iso -> 161.246.26.193 (User: ftp)
/LFS-LiveCD/lfslivecd-x86-6.2-4.iso -> 161.246.26.193 (User: ftp)
/LFS-LiveCD/lfslivecd-x86_64-CRS051009-pre1.iso -> 161.246.26.193 (User: ftp)
/LFS-LiveCD/lfslivecd-x86-6.3-pre1.iso -> 161.246.26.193 (User: ftp)
/LFS-LiveCD/lfslivecd-x86-6.2-5.iso -> 161.246.26.193 (User: ftp)

etc.
