That was fixed upstream. Most of the upstream devs recognize the fact
that bash may not be the default shell.

That is because gawk is not installed so it falls back to awk. If gawk
is installed, it does not cause any issues.

If we want to be proactive, we should install updated packages in
/tools and mark them as optional if the host already satisfies the
requirements rather than updating the host requirements. Also, in some
cases it may not be possible to update the host (for example livecds).
