The following packages reference openssl:

pine
subversion
ethereal
perl-modules (Crypt-SSLeay)
heimdal
sendmail
mysql
openssh
balsa

I will need some help testing these.  I've never done anything with
Crypt-SSLeay, heimdal, pine, or balsa (gnome).  I've also never used the
ssl capabilities of ethereal, mysql, or sendmail.

The changelog does not indicate any interface changes.  It looks like
mostly bug fixes and uncommon cipher additions/deletions.

The current instructions seem to work at least through the build.  The
patch needs to be modified slightly (the change to the FAQ does not apply).
