To update a tarball, a developer needs to create it manually and place it in the downloads.linuxfromscratch.org root on belgarath. The name of the files needs to match the ones in packages.ent. Of course the other data such as md5sums needs to match the new file too.
My only suggestion is don't leave them in the downloads.linuxfromscratch.org root. Let's make udev-config/ and lfs-bootscripts/ directories. There's no real reason to keep everything splattered in one directory. Next question. What is the group ownership on that directory? As it stands now, I don't think everyone that needs write permissions has them. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
