Reminds me of the line in 'Back to the Future, Part 2' when the scientist calls Marty "Future Boy'. Dan just inherited a new name.
Have you ever seen the movie Bottle Rocket? The older brother of one of the main characters is referred to universally as "Future Man". Always with a straight face, they never use his real name once.
