There is an issue with grub and some sata controllers, I have a
patch in CLFS that fixes the issue. I just finished testing, and it does
effect LFS as well as CLFS. It is recommended this patch be added to the
release.

This patch allows for better drive detection and fixes some GCC 4.x
isues also related to the drive issues, it does add some gcc flag
changes, which is a part of the fix.
