New udev config is available at:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~alexander/udev-config/udev-config-20060607.tar.bz2
Changes:
* Removed nvidia rules
- Due to class interface change to GPL only, nvidia can no longer use this.
* Removed bug reporting rule
- uevent leaks do happen and are unfixable, so bug reports are useless. I
have to look how SuSE watches for kernel threads.
* Moved Debian-based persistent CD-ROM rules to contrib
- this means that the book should say something about creating rules for
CD-ROM symlinks manually. Both "location persistence" and "model/serial
persistence" should be explained, see
http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/lfs-dev/2006-May/057173.html and
http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/lfs-dev/2006-May/057175.html
* Adapted firmware rule to udev-093
- that's because the binary firmware helper got replaced with a shell script
with different name.
