On the 'Locale Related Issues' page in BLFS it opens with: "This page contains information about locale related problems and issues. In this paragraph you'll find a generic overview of things that can come up when configuring your system for various locales. The previous sentence and the remainder of this paragraph must still be revised/completed." I think adding some of Jeremy's comments above (chiefly: multibyte locale support in LFS/BLFS is new and not fully tested for each package) would be a perfect compliment to add into that opening paragraph (and remove the note saying it needs to be fixed). The "check the Wiki" part Jeremy mentions is already on the Locale related issues page, in the very next paragraph after the one shown above. -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.27] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 08:58:00 up 10 days, 58 min, 1 user, load average: 0.35, 0.15, 0.06 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
