This is clearly either a bug in glibc or a case of memory corruption in
smbmount. [EMAIL PROTECTED], both with and without [EMAIL PROTECTED] (which
changes exactly nothing if other LC_* variables are not set), represents a valid
language setting.
Could you please get a list of locales supported by glibc, and run smbclient
--help in each one, so that one can find a pattern of errors.
