Actually, I was probably just busy before and then forgot about it afterwards. I don't see how added sanity checks could be overkill. We want to make absolutely certain that everything is as it should be, do we not? What harm is there in a few extra commands at this point to verify that. And it would likely help with support issues as well. Personally, I'd say let's give this the best shot we can.
