This depends upon external factors.
1) Linux-2.6.16 should be released for painless merging of the
"udev_update" branch. This shouldn't take more than 3 weeks.
2) The issue with the dead Linux-Libc-Headers project should be sorted,
and tested by rebuilding all of BLFS. This would take a month or two.
3) All UTF-8 issued in BLFS should be solved by me. This was expected to
take three months, but (because I actually did nothing) I doubt that
this will be done at all.
Add the time for testing all of this.
