I'm thinking it would not hurt to build kernels with as much enabled as we can. There will likely always be kernel modules that don't build correctly for whatever reason, but it would be good for us to know this up front. We could add a note in the book that modules X, Y, and Z are known not to build correctly. We can always decide to supply a patch or not depending on the circumstances.

Are there any objections not to go that route?
