Excactly how many hacks and workarounds do you want to incorporate into
the lfs build to accomodate the one pass final native gcc build?

Thats the choice
 - Multiple hacks to try to get the gcc build to behave for single pass
 - Use the bootstrap target and forget about maintaining said hacks

make bootstrap will always do the right thing.
