My proposal from today about re-adding *startfile_prefix_spec is based on guidance from Ryan. You'll see that if you can manage to read through all of that IRC log from yesterday. (For those interested and not familiar with our IRC server, Ryan = mdh, me = quadrata). Ryan guided me through, I in turn have brought it to the lists, and I'm waiting for feedback. I will say that this experience has taught me a lot, both in terms of the toolchain and in proper conduct as a dev. Dan, like you, I intend to get much more familiar with the toolchain. Perhaps we can work together a bit more? :) As far as the lacky comment, though I'm not the one that said it, I do apologize for it. There are some bad vibes/feelings in this project that need to be dropped or worked out; our devs and editors especially should work on that. Also, FWIW, Greg's posts of late have been much more positive and helpful, and I appreciate that immensely. -- JH -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
