Thanks for pointing that out. The FHS seems to agree, too. Although, they seem to point to the /usr/share/misc directory, unless I'm misunderstanding something. To quote: "/usr/share/misc : Miscellaneous architecture-independent data This directory contains miscellaneous architecture-independent files which don't require a separate subdirectory under /usr/share.
