Yes, this is new as of libtool-1.5.22. I only noticed this yesterday myself in my latest ICA run. The problem is triggered because the latest libtool tarball was generated with a beta version of Autoconf (2.59c) which changes the `egrep' searching code. At first glance, the effects of this bug look serious enough to break the system installed libtool. I'll soon make a similar build order change in the DIY build. Regards Greg PS.
