I thought I have fixed this! The bug was in /usr/bin/shutdown-helper,
replace the strings "/lib/libreadline.so.5.0" and
"/lib/libhistory.so.5.0" with "/lib/libreadline.so.5" and
"/lib/libhistory.so.5"
