Well, I assume you mean not behind it as things stand right at this
time? Is that correct? Or do you mean that the idea is a futile one?

I'm interested in seeing your work, and I'll be looking at doing some of
my own. I've taken your point about the chapter 6 purity analysis and
will concede. I'll also agree that we're not ready for the change yet -
as this thread has shown there's too much testing to do - but I still
think that we need to go this direction, which could ultimately help
point out bugs in the entire LFS build process.
