As Matt has already said, LFS creates a base usable linux system with
the minimum tool set to boot. A base system.
I don't see a packagement tool - and certainly not the suggest tool as a
bare minimum or as a good base for an update.
LFS works as it is, it calls out at the start of the book what it will
build, I don't see a need to move this to include more tools like a
propritary package managment system.
