Just a follow-up as the thread continued on blfs-support.
If I understand correctly, Glibc-2.3.6 already has the fixes applied. LFS uses Glibc-2.3.6 so this probably is a moot point as far as LFS development goes, correct?
I haven't tested this with Glibc-2.3.6 yet but I believe others have tested it successfully. Or not? I'm admittedly a little confused what has actually been tested and what is merely speculated.
