and then take the "vmlinux" kernel.
Why don't we do a
make ARCH=sparc64 CROSS_COMPILE=${LFS_TARGET}- image
and then take the "arch/sparc64/boot/image" kernel ?
In my case the vmlinux kernel is 4001400 bytes, the image is 3476160
bytes.
