Hi guys,

I'm planning on merging the gcc4 branch to trunk sometime between 19:00-22:00 UTC on Friday evening. Jeremy, I'll take care of merging r6818 to the branch tonight. Manuel, is this likely to cause problems for your intended docbook-xsl-1.69.1 related patches you've got planned for the weekend? I think they should all just be contained in the stylesheets/ directory, but if there's anything else I'd rather not tread on your toes.

I realise that Jim and Matt Darcy have found a problem related to cross-lfs using gcc-4.0.1, but as this doesn't appear to affect the branch at the moment I'd prefer to get the merge done. If it turns out that there's a chance we could trigger it during a 'normal' build, I'll obviously reconsider rescheduling the merge.

So, barring any further changes of plan, I'd prefer it if folks could refrain from committing anything to the trunk or gcc4 branch from about 18:00 UTC until the merge is done.

Cheers,

Matt.
