Hi all, Just an update for anyone interested. I've got many packages built using the GCC-4 branch of LFS. Included so far is a functional KDE desktop, some multimedia stuff, pdf viewer, everything it takes to use subversion and render the LFS books, printing capability using CUPS, Samba support and many support libraries.
A list of all the installed packages I have so far can be found at http://linuxfromscratch.org/~randy/installed_packages.txt Some of these packages required patches (could have used a sed for some of them, but created patches so folks could easily see what to do to fix a broken package).
