i dont know much about security, but this patch would be good to mention
in the hlfs book.
i searched for a way to chroot the sftp users and found this patch.
http://chrootssh.sourceforge.net/index.php

i dont know if its still under development or if its secure to use.

is this patch known? if yes some comments would be great if its going into
the book, or some pros and cons.

my pros are:
o user is locked into a chroot. eg /home or /srv/sftpusers
(could that get done without that patch?)

cons:
o binaries and dependencies need to get copied into chroot, so a rm or mv
or pwd is working

sorry for my bad english
greetings from bavaria :)
stephan
