It's my opinion that the current SVN (20050303) is rock solid and
worthy of a release. I have a couple systems running it, without
problems or issues that I've seen. Additionally, Anduin is running
on a very similar platform (just a few packages are not up to the
current revs, but the toolchain is the same).

I won't go so far as to suggest a release, as I feel that kind of thing is better left to the devs, but I will back Randy's claim that current SVN makes a solid build. I just built SVN 20050302 last week and I've been unable to hose the system. Everything appears good. However, let me be thorough and list my deviations from the book even though some are fairly trivial:
1) Instead of Libol and Syslog-ng I build pcre and metalog
2) I compile grep with --enable-perl-regexp
3) I do not build gettext and I pass --disable-nls to whatever will take it
4) I use MSB's pkg-user system for package management
5) I use bash startup files from BLFS with a few modifications

So perhaps my systems aren't the best test cases for the book, but I do follow the book fairly closely, and I agree with Randy that current SVN is looking good.
