Don't know if this is the right place to post, my apologies if not. I've been a silent user of LFS for a while now, and think I should do my share at least :-)
Anyway, back to the topic lads... Linux From Scratch - Version SVN-20050219 lists in "3.2. All Packages" section that the M4 macros version 1.4.2 are to be found in http://freshmeat.net/projects/gnum4/ which links to http://www.seindal.dk/rene/gnu/ But this page only has old versions in there. In fact 1.4.2 can be found in the GNU ftp repository as it was before the security breach incident. ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/m4/ It's much faster that way. And please tell me if this is not the usual mailing list for the LFS erratas.
