Hi folks! I want to try Leo, but I'm having trouble getting it installed. I've tried this on Debian 12, Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04 virtual machines, and I am trying to install into a virtual environment created with "python3 -m venv". Until Edward has released Leo 6.8.1 to PyPI, you can use the same workaround I used to demonstrate the problem [1]. - That is: * Start with 'python3 -m pip install leo==6.7.8.proto3' - and - * perform a 'python3 -m pip install --upgrade leo' afterwards. With kind regards, Viktor --- [1] Leo 6.8.0 from PyPI does not work in a new VM * https://groups.google.com/g/leo-editor/c/xdM4trZbUoI -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
