I have an upgraded first-generation Mac Pro that I'm looking to sell or trade.
It's a 2006 Mac Pro that has been upgraded to 8 cores (two X5355 2.66ghz quad-core processors) and 2,1 firmware. It has 16GB of RAM (8x2GB), two SuperDrives (both third-party, one single-layer and one dual-layer if I remember correctly), a 1TB hard drive, and a Radeon HD 5450 (a basic 1GB PC graphics card, but it does work with OS X if you install the included kexts). It is in decent cosmetic condition with some signs of wear and no major damage, but it's missing three of the hard drive sleds. Let's call that the "barebones" configuration. Alternately I could add a Radeon 2600XT (OEM 3,1 graphics card that works with any OS through El Capitan), 23" ADC Cinema HD Display (works but has a broken hinge), DVI to ADC converter, USB aluminum keyboard, and USB Mighty Mouse for a complete "turnkey" setup. I'd like to get $300 or best offer for the barebones configuration or $450 OBO for the complete/upgraded setup (or make an offer if you want something in between). On the other hand I may be interested in a trade. The main things I'm currently looking for are a 2011 or newer 11" MacBook Air, a 64GB or better iPhone 6 Plus/6S/6S Plus (AT&T or unlocked), or a 64GB or better 64-bit iPad. If you have something else to offer (especially if you are in the Houston area) just let me know. I once bought a Mac Pro that was damaged in shipping so I'd greatly prefer a local sale/trade if possible. I am not opposed to shipping it if necessary, but I'll have to look into prices and packing materials. I only take PayPal, unless you can meet locally in which case I would take cash. If you have any questions or want pictures please feel free to ask. Steven Fowler eBay ID: Obi1kenobi1 Houston, TX 77083 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
