Up for sale here is my Bondi iMac G3, with some awesome (dare I say "rare") upgrades. It has a 466mhz G4 CPU upgrade, 512MB RAM, 80GB hard drive, and a Voodoo2 8MB 3D accelerator attached to the mezzanine port. The internal ATi video is upgraded to 6MB VRAM. Comes with matching keyboard and mouse. Computer works great.
Cosmetically it is in fairly good shape. It is missing the translucent bezel on the optical drive but is otherwise complete (the port door is present and in good shape). It has a few scratches on the plastic but nothing terrible. I should mention that the display is somewhat dimmer when the Voodoo2 is activated. That was/is a known shortcoming of this particular upgrade - the card is in excellent working condition. I have no idea what a machine like this is worth with the upgrades, but I have to start somewhere, so how about $150 plus shipping? If you live within 40 or so miles of Rockford, IL I would be willing to drive to deliver the computer. Instead of shipping, we can just figure a bit of gas money. :) Pickup is also welcome. I can accept Paypal, and I'll also take cash if we do a local pickup/delivery. I will consider reasonable offers. Pictures are available upon request. Thanks for looking!
