I bought this as a refurb not knowing that 85Mbps Powerline is not
compatible with the 200Mbps setup that I have at home. I plugged it
in and it saw a Powerline network, but would not connect.
I bought this because unlike most Powerline adapters, this includes a
4 port hub. So if you have a couple of computers and a printer, they
can all be plugged into one unit and not need individual adapters.

I do not know if the powerline standard works across brands. I
believe it does, but please verify if you have a different brand
installed.
This includes just the adapter and one ethernet 3' or so ethernet
cable. If you need another cable, let me know and as long as it stays
under 1lb total, I will try and throw it in.
