I wish you luck on this project. My shop is Un-Heated when I am not in the shop. Its a very real pain in the winter. Due to this problem,I don't do a lot in the shop form Nov-Mar. Once you get a chance send us any photo's and questions you may have. Depending on your type of wood working you plan to do, will influence the tools and parts you will be looking for to add to your shop. As for myself I started very rustic, and slowly worked towards more ornamental turnings over the years. The Legacy is a very good tool, but its the User that makes the art. Best of luck on this...Keep in touch. C.A.G. On Monday, March 24, 2025 at 08:10:20 PM EDT, Dan Peterson <danrp...@gmail.com> wrote: Thank you everyone. I will finally take pictures tomorrow of all that came in a box with the 1800. I'm sure it's missing a lot. Great idea CAG on the lubrication. Life gets in the way of getting my garage space in shape. I am having the local building official come over soon to tell me what I may need to do so as to heat and cool the one car garage that will be my wood shop. I plan on using ThermoSlab In-Floor heating cable to be the main heating source and not yet sure on the best way to cool it yet. I am increasing the size of my electrical panel from 60 amps to 200 amps. Increasing it is free from the electrical utility however of course I will have to hire an electrician to put in the new panel. My garage is only 11 x18 at most. I'll cut open the floor for a rectangular hole for the 150' of heating cable. It requires a atleast 2" of rigid foam and some rebar. I'm a plumber by day and a wanna be woodworker by night and weekends. I sincerely thank all of you. Keep up the great work. Talk soon. Hey there everyone. Dan I agree with Bill, If you can take some photo's of what you have, It might make it easer to help you figure out what you now own. Was there a motor drive unit with this machine? If Not, believe you me, that is something you will want to have. Did you get any router bit with your machine? Magnate bits are good bits for the price. (https://www.magnate.net/SearchResults.asp?Cat=90 ) As far as getting you Legacy back into shape. With a little steel wool and some penetration oil is all that you should need for the Acme screw. as for the alum. rails Dyna Glide is the best product on the market to keep those working as they should. wishing the best of luck. I am very happy with you Dan. Have a good night. C.A.G. Hi Bill. I do have a box of things which includes some gears. I think the original customer of the LOM used it twice since purchasing it some time ago. I believe it was the most basic package. I'm a ways off from getting it in running order.
