Millwall crowd lost no opportunity to waste time throwing the ball back I
noticed, to be expected I suppose, but when the "Ball Boys" were doing the
same - sometimes just ignoring the ball and letting the Huddersfield player
chase for it - then if I were ref I would have had a word - why don't refs
  notice this sort of thing?

That reminds me...............it was scandalous at the Charlton match the other
week; the ballboys were complete fuckwits who just all threw balls randomly
onto the pitch from all directions whenever a ball went out. The first time it
happened, play continued with 2 balls on the pitch . Charlton had possession
near the corner flag, and there was another ball which the ref hadn't noticed
bobbing about in the box. So Collins brilliantly drew the ref's attention to
the latter by whacking it at the "official" ball, thereby dispossessing the
Charlton player who had it! But anyway, after a few more occurrences, it seemed
that the ref instructed the ballboys to just stop doing their job since they
were doing it so badly............and in the last few mins when we were losing,
that really helped Charlton to waste time. I think we should demand that the
game be replayed.
