Well if the CVA is set aside and KPMG look to sell the club to the highest
bidder, it would seem quite possible that Astor might easily win the bidding
war.
 
After all, they must be people of inestimable substance given their previous
influx of funds into LUFC and apparent willingness to write off their
investment should the Cuddly One throw his toys out of the pram and force
liquidation. 
 
It seems to me that the sums involved must be insignificant to Astor so
another ten to fifteen million, presumably on the basis of acquiring the
goodwill and assets unencumbered by historical liabilities, should be
buttons to these guys?
