Supporters Trust seeks clarification.

Leeds United Supporters Trust and Leeds United Supporters Club are jointly
seeking reassurance for their members and for all season ticket holders with
regard to the measures in place to safeguard fans season ticket money in the
event of any challenges to the CVA or any other financial difficulties at
the football club.

A spokesman for the trust said: "We feel that the relevant parties need to
come forward and clarify for the fans what safeguards are in place
concerning the season ticket money. Fans are already backing the club
financially and we believe that it is their right to know that the money
that has been handed over is safe".

He added: "We believe it is a matter of urgency that such an important issue
to fans is clarified so that the fans can feel safe in purchasing season
tickets in order to support the team and club next season".

When live on BBC Radio Leeds Mr Bates was asked three times for such
reassurances, two of which were direct questions from individual fans who
had sent specific texts to the programme. Mr Bates was asked - How safe is
my money? If it all goes bust will season ticket holders get their money
back? Mr Bates responded "I've already told you since I'm not handling the
season ticket money I cannot answer the question. KPMG can".

Josie Richardson of KPMG told the Trust on Monday that Leeds United 2007 has
the right and the ability to sell season tickets and that is what they have
done and that individual fans will know where they have paid their money for
season tickets. The money has not been paid to KPMG and the money is not
under the control of KPMG she said. The sales of season tickets have been
made by Leeds United 2007 and KPMG is not in a position to comment on the
matter of the whereabouts or the safety of the funds. Ms Richardson referred
us to Shaun Harvey at the club. Mr Harvey has not yet responded to our
requests for reassurance and clarification. It should be noted that Leeds
United 2007 Ltd is not the same company as Leeds United Football Club
Limited which is the "newco" which was set up in April 2006 and which is
registered at Chelsea Harbour. The newco will own the club
post-administration should the current CVA succeed.
