Actually I couldn't argue if Wise was sacked, it all boils down to who would
serve us better in League One.

I could try and counter your counter arguments wrt Wise and his integrity
and his ability to sort a football dressing room, but it doesn't really
matter either way, these are just opinions.  All I would say is that most
footballers have a vastly different set of values than us lot do.  I
actually think most footballers would respect Wise, if he was on their
'side', cos he has played at the highest levels, and also played at the
lowest levels.  A league one footballer will look at him and think "this
bloke played for Wimbledon when they were crap and eventually won a fa cup
winners medal with them..".  

One major factor for me in wanting Wise to stay is that I have a soft spot
for Gus!  I think he is a genuinely nice bloke and not a bad footballer to
boot.
