Hi In real life I am a Medical auditor. It is really quite interesting. I have leaned two things. Look at all the picture. Ask: ' Does this make sense?'. With regards to LU[A]FC: How the hell does a guy:
1. Invest 10 Million. 2. Have no real expenses. 3. Recoup at least 7-8 Million 4. Have a PERSONAL debt owed to him of over 24 Million? That means that he owns or controls the people that had previous debts. Is there another explanation? If this is so. How did it come about? More important than this. We know this guy has a great love of real estate. He is obsessed by it. The two major assets are ------ Real Estate. What a coincidence . An even bigger one is that we do not know who owns ER or TA, our two major assets. Is this the personal debt ? Know I'll put on my Shrinks hat. Bates walks into LUAFC at high noon. No 'Due diligence" -- he buys. Supposedly spur of the moment,, 'I can get by' . Then we have another watershed event. LUAFC almost get promoted. A rumoured bizarre dressing room chat that leads to defeat in the finals. Rumours abound that we would have lost a bundle if we go up. A very strange rumour to make up. But hang on it is getting better. We are fighting for our life. We can go into the last game but it does not. Within days Bates has masterminded a financial coup that makes little sense. [See above]. What if we had gone to the last game and lost. Bates's logic means that we were bloody lucky and miraculously saved because we drew. Again we have to believe in amazing luck and genius off the cuff Batesian improvisation. Blow away the smoke. Take a good look. What do you see? You see nowt. It has all gone. All we have left is Bates and his sleight of hand. Is Bates a great improviser ? I think not. No one is that good. Is Bates a cheat? By his own admission he is a rip off artist. Is Bates Robin 'Ridsdale' Hood ? Bates does not give a wet fart about Leeds. My friends, we are fucked . We have been used and conned I really hope that someone can alter enough facts to alter the whole picture.
