I think it was 146 actually, but it was a match winning score in the
Gillette Cup Final at Lords and was at the time the record individual
score in a one day match!

ODI record isn't the greatest, but remembering the era he played in a 36
average, including 1 ton and 9 50's in 36 matches isn't bad at all. His
147 was in a Yorkshire one dayer.
Boycott is all for the 1 day scene and big hitters so long as they play
it
technically correct, nowt wrong wi that. He also BTW reckons Fletcher
and
Vaughan shouldn't play, and has said so since October last year.
